Glen E. Knight age 79 of Salem passed away Tuesday, June 19 at his home.

Mr, Knight was born May 5, 1933 in Brownstown, Indiana the son of Clyde and Carolyn "Caddie" Huckleberry Knight.  He retired from Cummins Engine after 36 and 1/2 years.  He was Korean War Navy veteran.  He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife:  Barbara Boling Knight.  They were married March 13, 1963.  He is also survived by two sons:  Steve Goen of Salem and Kevin Goen of Chesnee, South Carolina, a daughter:  Kelly Knight of St. Louis, Missouri, three brothers:  Randy Knight of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Tommy Knight of Palmyra and Jerry Knight of New Albany, a sister:  Peggy Buckmaster of Chicago, Illinois, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers:  Robert and Clyde Knight Jr. and two sisters:  Violet Hoffman and Maxine Terkhorn.
