Mrs. Vicki L. Payne age 45 of Salem passed away Tuesday, June 26 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Payne was born November 16, 1966 in New Albany, Indiana the daughter of Robert Edward Garvin and Sandra Lynn Hartman Garvin.  She was a former manager for Wendy's and a former employee of Meijer's in New Albany.  She was a member of Faith Southern Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband:  Thomas L. Payne.  They were married March 21, 2008.  She is also survived by three daughters:  Michelle Starnes of Salem and Ashely Smith and Adriene Payne both of Saul, Kentucky, a son:  Anthony Payne of Saul, Kentucky, two brothers:  Robert E. Garvin Jr. of Pekin and Kean Garvin of Salem, a sister:  Norma Caldwell of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren one 1 God Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by a son:  Ryan Chastain and her parents.
