James M. McKnight age 86 of Salem passed away Monday, July 9.
Mr. McKnight was born November 14, 1925 in Salem the son of Mervin and Ethal Peden McKnight. He was a retired union Carpenter and a member of Pekin Baptist Church and Salem Masonic Lodge #21. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Lois McKnight, four brothers: Warren, Frank, Bob and Donald McKnight and his parents. He is survived by two sons: James R. McKnight of Dickson, Tennessee and Timothy F. McKnight of St. Augustine, Florida, a step-daughter: Trina Wells of Salem, four brothers: Perry, Jerry, Jack and Charles McKnight all of Salem, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

So sorry for your loss Sympathy from the entire family of Oliver and Alice Davidson. Jimmy you was just at Aunt Dells funeral on Sunday saying you was stopping by your dads. I hope you got some comfort by doing so. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Angie
