Alice (Wingler) Burk

Alice June Burk age 83 of Salem passed away Friday, October 6 at Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 2, 1934 in Washington County the daughter of Jesse Andrew Wingler and Zelma Grace Boston Wingler. She was a former employee of Renaker’s Five & Dime and a homemaker. She was a member of Livonia Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Brenda K. Burk of Salem, two sisters; Bonnie Woodard of New Albany and Linda Holtry of Chicago.
She is preceded in death by her husband: John G. Burk, one sister, one brother, and her parents.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow in Livonia Cemetery.
