Allan Wayne Simpson, age 71 of Salem, passed away Friday, May 17 in his home, surrounded by family.

Mr. Simpson was born October 26, 1952 in Salem. The son of Reed and Sue Etzler Simpson. He retired from Indiana Oxygen in Seymour. In retirement he worked at Shadowood Golf Course and Country Club and was an avid golfer. Mr. Simpson was a member of the Salem Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife Anna Spaulding Roney, they were married on February 16, 2022. He is also survived by one son, Derek Simpson (Sarah) of Franklin, two daughters: Adria Dupin (David) of Salem and Kristin Huffman (Aaron) of Seymour, seven grandchildren and his sister, Karen Owens (Paul) of Port Charlotte, Florida. 

Mr. Simpson is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 11:00A.M. at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 22, from 4:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. and on Thursday from 9:00A.M. until the time of service. Masonic Services will be held on Wednesday at 7:00P.M. Burial will be immediately following the services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
