Mrs. Anna May Black age 88 of Salem passed away Monday, April 7 at 10:00AM at her home.
Mrs. Black was born December 23, 1925 in Floyd County, Indiana the daughter of Hobart and Lillian Epperson Van Meter. She was a retired employee of Brown Insurance and Dr. Crouch’s Dentist office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Frederick Black, a sister: Hoberta Brickey and her parents. She is survived by a nephew: Terry Williams of Connersville, Indiana and 2 great nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at noon at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
