Anna Ruth (Farley) Crane

Anna Ruth Crane, 89, of Campbellsburg, Indiana died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.

She was born on October 6, 1927 in Paoli, Indiana, the daughter of the late Everett and Nola (Breeden) Farley. She was a homemaker, farmer and former employee of B.F. Goodrich and Jean's Extrusions in Salem, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Morris (Bill) Crane, one brother, Clark Farley, one sister, Edna Farley, and her son-in-law, John W. King.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Crane of Campbellsburg, Indiana and Karen King of Salem, Indiana. Granddaughters, Rachel (Rhett) Huffaker of Salem, Indiana, and Captain Laura (Scott) Johnstad of Brandon, England. Anna Ruth is also survived by many beloved sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She found great joy in current events, crossword puzzles, gardening, going to church, taking joy rides and sharing magic moments with her loved ones. Anna Ruth loved her dogs and her bird, Billie, very much. She was a member of Posey Chapel Church.

Visitation will be at Weathers Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5 from 4pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Posey Chapel on Wednesday, September 6 at 11am, with additional visitation from 10am until time of service. Burial to follow in Posey Chapel cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Posey Chapel.
