Anna E (Durnil) Setser

Mrs. Anna E. Setser age 89 of Salem passed away Friday, January 18 at 2:33AM at Meadow View Health Care Center.

Mrs. Setser was born April 26, 1923 in Livonia the daughter of Wesley Russell and Rosetta Mulvany Durnil.  She was a homemaker and a member of Campbellsburg Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband:  Jesse Setser in 1994, her former spouse:  Bennie Smith in 1977, two sons:  Billy and Jerry Smtih, six brothers:  Carl, Darrell, William Russell, Wesley Leroy, Louis, and Morris Durnil, six sisters:  Wilma Crowder, Dorothy Lyons, Doris Durnil, Linda Durnil, Edith Clark and Ruby Sutton, and her parents.  She is survived by a son:  Jeffery Smith of Jerseyville, Illinois, two daughters:  Carolyn Burton of Columbus and Shirley Bush of Salem, a step-daughter:  Sarah Ann McClure of New Whiteland, Indiana, four brothers:   Clyde Durnil of Mildford, Ohio, Jack Durnil of Crawfordsville, Marvin Durnil of Evansville and Michael Durnil of Kansas, a sister:  Hazel Moore of Princeton, 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11l:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Hop Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Monday from 9AM-time of service at the church.
