Anthony "Alf" Boone Burton

Mr. Anthony “Alf” Boone Burton age 58 of Salem passed away Sunday, December 10 at his home.

Mr. Burton was born June 6, 1959 in Salem the son of Boone and Pauline Frances Freeman Burton.  He was a self- employed construction worker and a member of Northside Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife:  Marlene Baker Burton.  They were married November 23, 1995.  He is also survived by three sons:  Eric Burton of Virginia, Dickie Brading of Salem and Dannie Brading of Pekin, a daughter:  Christy Turner of Fredericksburg, three brothers:  Harvey Clark and Mark Burton both of Florida, Daniel Burton of Virginia, three sisters:  Pamela Holloway, Angela Broadhuhn and Rosa Smith all of Virginia, his step-mother:  Billie Sue Burton of Virginia, 13 grandchildren:  Shayla Farrar, Cassie Turner, Destiny Brading, Danielle Brading, Levi Turner, Faith Turner, Micah Turner, Brayton Brading, Richie Brading Shelton, Trenton Sullivan, Ericka Burton, Breanna Burton and Alex Pixley, and four great-grandchildren:  Grace Farrar, Ariel Farrar, Brayden Turner, and Brilee Gilbert.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Olive Branch Cemetery.
