Mrs. Audrey Jewell Motsinger age 94 of Salem passed away Wednesday, September 10 at Harrison County Hospital.
Mrs. Motsinger was born August 17, 1920 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of James Alva and Hazel Hoggatt Kay. She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ and Sweet Adelines. She was a former employee of LaGene’s and Ray’s Jewelers.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband: Kent Motsinger, two brothers: Dwight and James Kay, two sisters: Mary Herle and Roberta Motsinger, a grandchild, 2 great-grandchildren and her parents.
She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Ashabraner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brenda Baker of Corydon and Mariann McKenzie of Cave City, Arkansas, a brother: Byron Kay of Sun City, Arizona, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home with Marvin Purkhiser officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
