Avis L. Naugle age 94 of Salem passed away Saturday, January 6 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Mrs. Naugle was born November 29, 1923 in Martinsburg, Indiana the daughter of Gilbert and Katheryn Elizabeth Temple Elrod. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem (High Street) Church of Christ.
Avis was preceded in death by her husband: Melvin A. Naugle on August 5, 2002, a daughter: Barbara Ann Naugle, and four sisters: Cletis Mousty, Edith Jackson, Geneva Coleman and Grace Elrod.
She is survived by a son: David Allen Naugle (Brenda) of Burlington, Iowa, a daughter: Brenda Partridge (Gary) of Madison, three grandsons: Gerald Mull of Plano, Texas, Allen Naugle of Corning, Iowa and Erik Naugle (Jess) of Weston, Wisconsin, two great-grandsons: Uriel Mull-Pernetz and Rafael Mull-Pernetz both of Allen, Texas, and a great-granddaughter: Marlee Naugle of Weston, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7:30PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
