Brian "Opie" S. Cooper

Brian “Opie” Cooper, age 46, of Salem passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his home. 

Mr. Cooper was born March 14, 1978 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of Ronnie and Mary Harris Cooper. He attended Faith Baptist Church. He graduated from Indiana State and was the owner of Cooper Insurance Agency.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his parents, two children: Collin Schocke, and Gracee Schocke both of Salem, and his brothers, Jason Cooper of Vallonia and John Nickels of Arizona. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 9 at 11:00 A.M, at Kossuth Cemetery, with Jason Cooper officiating.
