Carl Wayne Brown

Mr. Carl Wayne Brown, age 79, of Salem passed away Thursday, February 3 at Norton Hospital Brownsboro Road.

Mr. Brown was born May 2, 1942, in Salem, Indiana the son of Harold and Mabel Miller Brown.  He was a retired farmer and owner of Brown’s Tractor Sales.   He was a member of Model A Restorer’s Club in Columbus, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife:  Joyce Mattingly Brown, six daughters:  Tammy Wynn of Salem, Sandra Hollen (Kermit) of Salem, Robin Worley of Salem, Debbie Tawney of Salem, Dawn Brown of Salem, and Vanda Robbeloth (Kenny) of Georgetown, Indiana, a sister:  Carol Jane Campbell (Dwight) of Pekin, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by three brothers:  Irvin Brown, Harold “Jr.” Brown, and Donavon “Mousey” Brown, a sister:  Ellen Brown and his parents.

Cremation was chosen, following Mr. Brown’s wishes and no services will be held.
