Mr. Carl Gates Jr., age 51, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 16 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Gates was born October 31, 1970 in Salem the son of Carl Gates Sr. and Gloria Jacobs Gates.
He is survived by a son: Robert Gates of Spartanburg, SC, a daughter: Kelsey Baker (Brandon) of Chesnee, SC, a brother: James Gates of Spartanburg, SC, a sister: Angela Gates of Spartanburg, SC, two grandchildren, and his friend: Rose Henson of Salem. He is preceded in death by a brother: Jesse Gates and his parents.
Cremation was chosen there will be no services.
