Mr. Charles “Larry” Brewer age 77 of Salem passed away Monday, September 3 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Brewer was born June 13, 1941 in Campbellsburg the son of Charles Everett and Nettie Terrell Brewer.  He was a retired from Schwarman Trucking in Mitchell.  He was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife:  Jody Allbright Brewer.  They were married May 21, 2005.  He is also survived by two sons:  Troy Brewer (Julie) of Salem and Darin Brewer of Evansville, a daughter:  Sandra Brewer Allison (Ron) of Louisville, a step-son:  Aaron Tedrow (Amanda) of Scottsburg, a step-daughter:  Hannah Lucas (Jason) of Salem, two brothers:  Wayne Brewer of West Baden and Fred Brewer of Fort Myers, Florida, three sisters:  Kay Wells of Salem, Gloria Frances of Texarkana, Texas, and Pamela Brewer of Georgia, three grandchildren:  Chris Voyles, Ashley Anderson, and Nicholas Brewer, six step-grandchildren:  Tyra Lucas, Tanis Lucas, Amelia Tedrow, Arianna Tedrow, Jocelyn Tedrow, Tiffany Shives and Wendy Melvin, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers:  Gene Brewer and Danny Brewer, a sister:  Brenda Jean and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
