Mr. Charles J. Collingsworth age 81 of Orleans, formerly of Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 2 at IU Health Paoli Hospital.
Mr. Collingsworth was born November 27, 1937 in Virginia the son of Emmitt and Inez Johnson Collingsworth. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church.
Charles is survived by his sons: Charles Jack Jr Collingsworth of Madison, WI, Jeffrey Scott Collingsworth of Bedford, IN and Barry Wayne Collingsworth of Mitchell, IN, a daughter: Margaret Lynette Wordelman of Arizona, three brothers: Kee Collingsworth, Jerald Collingsworth, and David Collingsworth, and five sisters: Ruby, Bobbie, Georgia, Geraldine, and Mary, seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers: James and Delno Collingsoworth, a sister: Betty, and his parents.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11 at 2:00 P.M. at Life Tabernacle Church. Social time will held Friday at 1PM- until time of service at the church.
