Mr. Clifford R. Smith age 74 of Salem passed away Thursday, January 5 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
Mr. Smith was born October 30, 1942 in Barbourville, Kentucky the son of Otis and Leona Willis Smith. He was a retired employee of Jay C Food Stores. He was a former member of the Army National Guard.
Clifford was preceded in death by his wife: Vonda Smith on May 4, 2014. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Yvonne Amick and his parents.
He is survived by a son: Kevin Smith of Salem, a daughter: Donna Diaz of Port St. Lucie, Florida, a brother: Jerry Smith of Salem, three sisters: Wanda Powers and Anita Carter both of Salem and Edith Wagner of Memphis, Indiana and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
