Cody Russell Keltner

Mr. Cody Russell Keltner, age 81, of Salem, passed away Friday, August 23 at his home.

Mr. Keltner was born July 20, 1938 in Adair County, Kentucky the son of Clifton and Lena Moss Keltner.  He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator.  He was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

Russell is survived by his wife:  Rosa Lee Coomer Keltner.  They were married February 11, 1956.  He is also survived by two sons:  Cody Lee Keltner (Paula) of Salem and Clifton William Keltner (Debbie) of Vallonia, a daughter:  Cheri Thomas (Donnie Smith) of Jamestown, Kentucky, four brothers:  Simpson Keltner of Campbellsburg, Alfred Keltner of Salem, Charles Keltner of Fredericksburg, and Millard Keltner of Milltown, Kentucky, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by two sisters:  Dorothy Keltner and Wanda Keltner and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 5PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1-5PM at the funeral home.
