Dewey Tensley Garrison

Mr. Dewey Tensley Garrison age 88 of Milltown passed away Wednesday, March 29 at Kindred Transitional Care in Corydon.

Mr. Garrison was born December 30, 1928 in Hardinsburg, Indiana the son of LaRue and Louise Ponder Garrison. He was retired from Garrison Trucking and a farmer. He was a member of Milltown United Methodist Church and Blue River Masonic Lodge #457 in Fredericksburg. He was an Air Force veteran.

Dewey is survived by his wife: Delores Linton Garrison of Milltown. They were married November 24, 2006. He is also survived by two sons: Rick Catlett of New Albany and Mason Bryan Garrison of Hardinsburg, a daughter: Melissa Garrison Farmer of Hardinsburg, two step-daughters: LeaAnn Hicks of Hardinsburg and Linda Allen of Milltown, a sister: Barbara Roll of Hardinsburg, 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife: Shirley Maudlin Garrison, a brother: Mason Garrison and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
