Donald Gene Maudlin

Mr. Donald Gene Maudlin, age 92, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, June 8 at his home. 

Mr. Maudlin was born February 12, 1932 in Salem, the son of Ivan Joel and Mary Alice Bell Maudlin. He was a United States Airforce Veteran having served in Korea. Donald was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ, American Legion, and VFW. Donald loved fishing and bluegrass music. 

He is survived by a daughter: Sue Ann Maudlin Moore of Columbus, and a grandson: Michael Moore of Columbus. 

He is preceded in death by a daughter: Donna Hisey, a brother: Ivan Nelson Maudlin, a sister: Shirley Ann Garrison, a granddaughter: LeDonna Hisey, and his parents. 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11AM-until time of service.
