Donald Lee Smith age 46 of Salem passed away Friday, June 3 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem. Donald was born February 14, 1970 in New Albany, Indiana the son of Robert and Suzanne Barnes Smith. He was a self employed carpenter. Donnie is survived by his wife: Vanessa Reeves Smith, a daughter: Brittany Smith of Fredericksburg, his parents: Robert and Suzanne Smith of Salem, brother: Brent Smith of Salem, sister: Lacey Smith of Charlestown, grandmother: Anita Barnes of Salem and grandson: Gauge Spicer. He was preceded in death by grandparents: John "Cozy" Barnes and Bill and Annabell Smith.
