Doris Ann Keith age 76 of New Albany passed away Wednesday, August 10 at 11:40AM at Rex Robley VAMC in Louisville.
Ms. Keith was born July 22, 1935 in Shepheardsville, Kentucky the daughter of Robert C. and Hazel DeVore Keith. She was a retired Nursing Technician for Dr. Paul Recurver and a visiting nurse. She was a member of Church of God in Elizabeth, Indiana and attended Salem Nazarene Church. She was a Korean War Woman's Army Corp veteran.
She is survived by two sons: Robert P. Keith (Lisa) of Fredericksburg, Indiana and Jonathan Wayne Keith (Caren) of Georgetown, Indiana, two brothers: John Lewis Keith of New Albany and Joseph P. Keith of Salem, two sisters: Wanda June Johnson and Roberta Jean Eckart both of Elizabeth, Indiana, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hurstown Cemetery, near Corydon, with military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8PM and Saturday from 8AM-time of service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
