Doyle H Ragains

Mr. Doyle H. Ragains, age 90, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, November 8 at IU Health, Paoli.

Mr. Ragains was born February 29, 1928 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Jake and Oma Hauger Ragains.  He was a farmer and a member of Kansas Church of Christ and Campbellsburg Coon Hunter’s Club.

Doyle married Elzira Couch Ragains on September 24, 1948 and she preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by a brother:  Merle Ragains, a sister:  Stella Russell and his parents.

He is survived by three sons:  Gerald Ragains of Fredericksburg, Danny Ragains (Lillian) of Fredericksburg, and Steve Ragains (Karen) of Fredericksburg, daughter:  Lynne Quinlin of Salem, a brother:  Carl Ragains of Hardinsburg, a sister:  Janet Olver of Roswell, Georgia, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service at the funeral home.
