Dwight M. Shoults age 91 of Campbellsburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Shoults was born on May 14, 1935 in Salem, the son of Paul and Pauline Shoults. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He was also a member of the NRA, Conservation Gun Club of Campbellsburg and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He retired from Jeans Extrusions as maintenance man.

Mr. Shoults is survived by his sons, Eddie Shoults (Janet) and Tony Shoults (Jenny), his daughter, Cindy Hudman, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mr. Shoults is also survived by his sister, Betty Roll of Pekin.

Mr. Shoults is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years, Virginia Crane Shoults who passed away November 5, 2012. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Shoults and his son in law Ted Hudman.

Services will be held on Friday August 7, at 11:00A.M at Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Pastor Greg Strother officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, from 4:00-8:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home and Friday morning from 10:00 until the time of service at the church.
