Mr. Edward C. Rohe age 90 of Salem passed away Thursday, July 3 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Rohe was born November 29, 1923 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Bernard and Marie Hodges Rohe. He was a retired employee of Brown and Forman Distilleries. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Salem and a World War II Army veteran.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife: Bertie Rohe on July 19, 2013. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, three brothers: Jimmy, Anthony and Joseph Rohe and his parents.
He is survived by his son: Michael Rohe of Salem, a sister: Doris Carr of Louisville, Kentucky, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Salem with Father Louis Manna officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9-10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 5PM during visitation.
