Eileen Delores Greene

Mrs. Eileen Delores Greene, age 73, of Pekin, passed away Saturday, May 25 in Pekin. 

Mrs. Greene was born March 22, 1951, in Jewel Valley, Virginia, the daughter of Ray and Bertha White Clifton.  She was a graduate of Eastern High School.  Delores was a proud grandma to her eight grandchildren.   She liked collecting wind chimes, gardening and playing Bingo and was an avid lottery player. 

On September 28, 1974, she married Ralph Greene, and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2024.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother:  Arville White, and twin sister:  Maxine Clifton. 

She is survived by two sons:  Ryan Greene (Ashley) of Pekin and Ross Greene (Kaula) of Pekin, a daughter:  Angela Carroll (Jason) of Salem, and eight grandchildren:  Mason Greene, Destiny Greene, Madison Greene, Makinsy Greene, Carlie Greene, Ella Greene, Baylee Greene, and Addison Greene. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM-time of service.
