Elma Mae Monroe

Elma Mae Monroe, age 92, of Depauw, passed away Thursday, July 14 at Harrison County Hospital.

Elma was born October 19, 1929, in Kent, Indiana the daughter of Mabel Comingore Thompson and Ray Edward Kerr.  She was retired as an insurance billing clerk.  She was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church in Chula Vista, California.

Elma is survived by a brother:  Robert Lee Ake of Jacksonville, Florida, 4 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 7 great-nieces and nephews and their spouses, and 16 great-great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother:  Ray Edward Kerr, a sister-in-law:  Elizabeth Ann Kerr, and her parents.

Direct cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date.
