Ervin James Napier

Mr. Ervin James Napier age 75 of Salem passed away Tuesday, November 5 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Ervin was born November 6, 1943 in Manchester, Kentucky the son of Irvin and Julia Delores Gillium Napier. He was a United States Army Veteran, and retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Ann Everroad Napier, a step-son: Steven Wright of Columbus, a step-daughter: Vicky Rust of Lakeworth, Florida, a brother: Leslie Wayne Napier of Martinsville, Indiana, two step-grandchildren: Matthew Rust and Nichole Wright, and a step-great grandson: Mason Gerwe. He is preceded in death by a brother: George William Napier, three sisters: Betty Jean Hoskins, Wanda Sue Gardner, and Jewel M. Gregory, and his parents.

There will be a military honors service held Friday, November 8th at 11:00 A.M. at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Providence Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
