Eugene Collins

Mr. Eugene Collins, age 82, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 21 at his home.

Mr. Collins was born July 19, 1938 in Jonesville, Virginia the son of Marian Collins and Mossie Collins.  He was a retired employee of Day Farms.  He was an Army veteran and a member of Salem Church of God of Prophecy.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife:  Fannie Collins, a son:  Leonard Sturgill,  three brothers:  Morris Collins, Dewey Kinser and Harvey Kinser and his parents.

He is survived by a son:  Elvis Collins, a daughter:  Reba Wynn, a brother:  Lee Kinser, 8 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Private burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
