Eugene Curtsinger, age 83, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Mr. Curtsinger was born August 23, 1940 in Washington County, Kentucky. The son of Ruel Curtsinger and Lilly Hood Curtsinger. Mr. Curtsinger is a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Smith Cabinet and worked at the Powder Plant in Charlestown. He was a farmer, enjoyed fishing, working on cars and hunting.

Mr. Curtsinger is survived by two sons, Gary L. Wilcutt of Vallonia, and Bob "G" Wilcutt of Salem, and two daughters, Patsy A. Hamilton (Chuck) of Brownstown, and Carol L. Cox (Porter) of Salem. He is also survived by a brother, Ruel Curtsinger Jr. (Dorothy) of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, his sister, Betty Sue Scott (Larry) of Willisburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild, Ashlynn Pierce. And his dogs Coco and Lucky.

Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Audry Evans Curtsinger. They were married on December 31, 1966. Also, by his parents, his brothers, Billy Curtsinger, Clyde Curtsinger, and William Lee Curtsinger and his sisters, Marie Mullins, Anna Ruth Curtsinger, Peggy Thompson and Christine Curtsinger. He is also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jennifer L. Hacker.

Services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00P.M., at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 11:00A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow immediately after the funeral service at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
