Faye Carolyn (Lewis) Costin

Mrs. Faye Carolyn Costin, age 88, of Pekin, passed away Monday, November 7 at Salem Crossing.

Mrs. Costin was born November 21, 1933, in Pekin the daughter of Harley Alton and Verle Naugle Lewis.  She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ. Faye had worked several places including the Price Stabilization Office in Louisville after World War II, the Army Corp of Engineers, Farmers-Citizens Bank in Pekin, Pekin Eastern High School and was co -owner of Northside Service Station in Pekin.

Faye married Billy Costin on March 27, 1953, and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by one son:  Danny J. Costin, a sister:  Betty Green and her parents.  She is survived by one son:  Joseph Eric Costin (Robin) of Pekin, three daughters:  Jill Costin of Salem, Cynthia Morrow (Danny), and Brenda Richardson all of Salem, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
