Frances I. Garriott, 55, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. 

She was born on February 16, 1971 in Salem, IN the daughter of Thomas and Barbara Beavers Huffines. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Allen Huffines; one sister, Ramona Huffines and one grandson, Joesiah Johnson.

She is survived by two sons, Brent Garriott (Tiffany) and Anthony Hart (Victoria) both of Salem, IN; one daughter, Rita Garriott (Andrew Gregory) of Sellersburg, IN; one sister, Tracey McKillip (Chuck) of Salem, IN and 10 grandchildren.

Frances was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She was an employee of Samtec of Scottsburg, IN

There will be a Funeral Service Monday, October 12th at 6 PM at Weathers Funeral Home in Salem, IN. Cremation and burial will follow at a later date.

Visitation will begin Monday at 2 PM at the Funeral Home until the time of service.
