Mr. Harry J. Soliday age 94 of Salem passed away Friday, September 6 at his home.
Mr. Soliday was born July 27, 1919 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Wilbur and Viola Wingler Soliday. He was retired from West Washington School Corporation as a Manintenance Worker. He was a member of West Side Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife: Catherine Miller Soliday. They were married March 28, 1942. He is also survived by a son: Jimmy Soliday of Salem, a daughter: Judy Keehn of Salem, a brother: Eugene Soliday of New Albany, 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Arvil and Norval Alexander, John Soliday, Wilbur Dudley Soliday and Ace Soliday, and a sister: Helen Kaiser.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9Am-time of service.
