Helen A. Baker

Helen A. Baker, age 74, of Salem, passed away Monday, April 7 at her home.

Helen was born May 30, 1950, in Pekin, Indiana, the daughter of Henry and Pauline Stewart Baker. She was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church. She was employed by the US Census Bureau for over 40 years.

Ms. Baker is survived by a brother: Randall Baker of Pekin, a sister: Carolyn Lewellyn of Salem, 6 nephews and nieces: James Baker, Jennifer Shaffer, Randall Baker, Bradley Butner, Shawn Cottrell, and Greg Cottrell, and 3 great nieces and nephews: Colton Baker, Lainey Baker, and Levi Shaffer. She was preceded in death by a brother: Melvin Baker, a sister: Margie Cottrell and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10AM-time of service.
