Mrs. Helen Marie Branaman age 77 of Salem passed away Thursday, February 5 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Helen was born May 31, 1937 in Salem the daughter of Charles Banks and Anna Pearl Alspaugh Nice. She was a former employee of the old Salem Junior High and a member of Kansas Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children: Alan D. Branaman of Salem, Kenneth B. Branaman of Bloomington, Jean M. Kuzirian of Louisville and Susan L. Krydynski of Jackson, Missouri, three brothers: Bob, Junior and Jim Nice all of Salem, two sisters: Ruby Humphrey and Nona Cole both of Salem, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Dale, Raymond, Richard and Stanley Nice and four sisters: Betty Strange, Anna Mae Zink, Pat Floyd and Hazel Voyles.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
