Helen V McVay age 74 of Pekin passed away Sunday, October 2 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McVay was born April 8, 1937 in Harrison County, Indiana the daugher of John and Warrena Minton Beckett. She was a retired employee of Granutec Inc. in Florida and a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Phillip McVay in 1992, 5 brothers and her parents.
She is survived by a son; Rick McVay of Florida, four daughters: Sherri Thompson of Florida, Susan McVay and Sandra Mills and Erin Stiers all of Louisville, four brothers: Bill Beckett of Pekin, Donnie Beckett of Georgia, John "Sylvia" Beckett and Daniel "Lynn" Beckett both of Pekin, two sisters: Joan Pixley of Pekin and Mary Brooks of Salem, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
