Mr. Jack Eugene Thixton age 87 of Sellersburg passed away Sunday, November 9 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Thixton was born October 14, 1927 in Salem, Indiana the son of Earl and Leafa Gross Thixton. He was retired from Teamsters Local #76. He was a member of Memorial Methodist Church and New Providence Masonic Lodge #237. He was a Korean War Air Force veteran.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor Thixton, brothers: Laverne and Bill Thixton and his parents. He is survived by 7 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Masonic services will be held Wednesday at Noon at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9Am-time of services.
