Mr. Jackie Lee Conrad age 86 of Salem passed away Thursday, September 17 at 7:55AM at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Conrad was born June 2, 1929 in Corydon, Indiana the son of Kenneth and Hallie McCrady Conrad. He was a retired employee of Phillip Morris in Louisville. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Jackie was preceded in death by his wife: Helen Morgan Conrad in 1979. He was also preceded in death by a son: Denny Craig, a sister: Mary Jo Dale and a grandson: Jonathon Hook. He is survived by two sons: Kenny Conrad of Salem and Roger Conrad of Fredericksburg, two daughters: Sue Branham of New Albany and Rita Poe of Salem, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hardinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9Am-time of service.
