Jane E. Jones, 81, died Wednesday August 9th at Cape Chateau Memory Care Facility in Cape Coral, Florida.

Janey (as she was called) was born December 26, 1941, in Washington County, the daughter of Wencel and Marguerite Mull. Janey lived on a farm all of her life in Washington County and worked as a legal secretary in Louisville. She was a member of Fort Hill Church of Christ, and a former member of the Pekin Saddle Club. She loved animals, was an avid reader, rode horses, and loved to find rocks with her granddaughter, Layah.

Janey was preceded in death by her husband: Jim Jones, and her parents. She is survived by son: Jason (Shana) Jones of Fort Myers, a sister: Roberta Sullivan of Lanesville, and a granddaughter: Layah (John Donoghue) Jones of Illinois.

Funeral services will held at 11AM Friday, August 18 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7PM and Friday from 10AM-until time of service.
