Mr. Jay Douglas Marshall age 87 of Salem passed away Sunday, October 6 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Marshall was born September 19, 1926 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Claude E. and Iona C. Herthel Marshall. He was a retired employee of T & C Contracting. He was a member of Canton Christian Church and Salem Masonic Lodge #21. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Marshall, five brothers, 4 sisters and his parents. He is survived by a daughter: Kyleen Center of Madison and two grandsons: Eli Center (Shira T. Center) of Washington D.C. and Adam Center of Santa Cruz, California.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held Friday at 4:30PM at the funeral home and visitation will be Friday from 5-7PM.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society, Hospice of donor's choice or Canton Christian Church.
