Mr. Jeffery H. Gilstrap age 64 of Milltown passed away Thursday, December 7 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Mr. Gilstrap was born April 7, 1953 in Salem the son of Victor H. and Bertha Lee Hurd Gilstrap. He was a truck driver and a farmer. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Milltown and American Legion in Milltown. He was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his life partner: Paula Salisbury of Milltown, daughter: Kishia King of Jeffersonville, two sons: Levi Gilstrap of New Albany and Jared Gilstrap of Indianapolis, his mother: Bertha Gilstrap of New Salisbury, three sisters: Vickie Weidman of Salem, Jaulita Waleher of Lanesville and Dee Dee England of Rough River, Kentucky, and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father: Victor Gilstrap and a brother: Jesse Gilstrap.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Military honors will be held after services at the funeral home. Visitation will be Tuesday from Noon-2PM at the funeral home.
