Mr. Jesse P. Brown age 91 of Salem passed away Thursday, July 13 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Brown was born April 3, 1926 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Pete Brown Sr. and Edith Edna Hall Brown. He was a farmer. He was a member of South Liberty Church of Christ and a founding member of Blue River Coon Hunters Club. He was also a World War II Army veteran. He enjoyed playing the fiddle with various other musicians around Washington County.
Jesse was preceded in death by his wife: Frances L. Miller Brown on August 7, 2012. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Merle C. Brown, Oren F. Brown, Arnold Brown, Pete D. Brown, Robert J. Brown and Albert Lamb, sisters: Ruth McKinley and Grace Maudlin and his parents.
He is survived by three sons: Danny Brown (Judy), Mike Brown (Sharon) and Steve Brown (Brenda) all of Salem, a brother: Elmo Brown of Salem, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
