Mr. Jesse Motsinger age 85 of Salem passed away Wednesday, August 5 at his home.
Mr. Motsinger was born March 2, 1930 in Pekin the son of Ernest and Gertrude Robinson Motsinger. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He was a member of Olive Branch Primitive Baptist Church and a Korean War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Joy Lee Chastain Motsinger, a son: Lonnie Motsinger, four brothers: Lawrence, Hugh, Paul and Roy Motsinger, two sisters: Eulah Clemmer and Mable Meadors and his parents. He is survived by his daughter: Diana Seybold of Salem, a brother: Ernest J. Motsinger, two sisters: Edith Loveday and Mary Grigsby, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home with Elder Ernest Loveday officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
