Mr. John F. McClure age 68 of Salem passed away Thursday, May 7 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
Mr. McClure was born November 9, 1946 in Floyd County, Indiana the son of Paul and Edith Marsh McClure. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was a former employee of Red Bird’s gas station in New Albany.
John was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth E. McClure and his parents. He is survived by two sons: Jerry Walker of Martinsburg and Johnny McClure of Bloomington, four daughters: Pam Noel of Louisville, Kelly Kessinger of Fredericksburg, Tina Storms of Pekin and Angel Dunn of Salem, a brother: Paul McClure of Ohio, a sister: Cathy Taylor of Salem, 54 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM at Central Barren Cemetery.
