John Larry Roberts

John Larry Roberts, age 91 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Skyline Suites.

Mr. Roberts was born April 5, 1935 in Lawrence County, Indiana, the son of John and Jennie Guthrie Roberts. He worked in agriculture, in corn production. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salem Ward.

He is survived by his sons, Tom Roberts (Rita) of Vallonia, Jim Roberts (Christy) of Scottsburg, Tim Roberts (Rebecca) of Albany, Oregon and his daughter, Deanna Elgin (Jon) of Campbellsburg. He is also survived by his brother, Dannie Roberts (Jeanie) of Altamonte Springs, Florida and his grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Derek, Dylan, Ty, John, Joshua, Daniel, Kelsey and Emily and his great grandchildren, Wesson, Brantley, Bella, Ellyson, Krue, Ophelia and Blair. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Barbara Roberts and his parents, John and Jennie.

A private burial will be held on Friday, May 15.
