Mrs. Julia Ellen Ash age 77 of Paoli passed away Monday, April 8 at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Ash was born September 28, 1935 in Salem the daughter of Charlie and Ruth Irene Buckheister Cole. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Ash Sr.
She is survived by five sons: Henry Clay McGuire of Bloomington, Clarence Edward McGuire of Salem, Robert L. Ash Jr. and Charlie Joseph Ash both of Paoli, and Robert Joseph Ash of Hardinsburg, two daughters: Julia Ellen Ash Mattingly of Scottsburg and Nancy Karen Ash Drake of Paoli, two brothers: Bruce Erton Cole of Hardinsburg and Wilburn Butch Cole of Iowa, a sister: Charlene Clegg of Arizona, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Humane Society of the donor's choice.
