Kayla Lynn Strother, age 33 of Lexington, Indiana, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at her home.

Kayla was born December 30, 1992 in Madison, Indiana the daughter of Charles Cooper Jr. and Vickie Newman. Kayla loved to ride motorcycles, especially hers, that she named "Sweet Cheeks". She loved her dog, Lolly Lynn Strother, fishing, redoing old furniture, going to auctions and collecting rocks with her sister.

Kayla is survived by her son, David Hutchins, her parents, her sister, Heather Weber (Blane Sneed), niece and nephews, Connor Lewis of Richmond, Indiana, Colton Lewis, Michael Weber, Blane Sneed II and Dixie Sneed all of Campbellsburg. She is also survived by her cousin, Sarah Holderman (Jake) of Brownstown, Indiana, her aunt, Sharon Walls (Mike) of Lexington, Indiana, and her grandmother, Phyilis Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Strother, her grandparents, Linda and Paul Newman, and her grandfather, Charles Cooper.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 3:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00P.M until the time of service.
