Larry G Crecelius

Mr. Larry G. Crecelius, age 71, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 4 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Crecelius was born February 17, 1952, in New Albany, the son of Howard Jacob Crecelius and Mary Virginia Pierson Henry. He retired from Kimball Int. after 32 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was an editor for the Indiana B.A.S.S. news, and Public Relations for Crappie USA. He was a free lance writer and part of the Hoosier Outdoor Writers.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Lashbrooks Crecelius they were married December 11, 1971. He is also survived by two daughters: Amy Crecelius of Salem, and Jamie Stewart of Campbellsburg, two brothers: Jeff Henry of Lugoff, SC, and Junior Dillard of New Albany, three grandsons: Brandon Crecelius, Dylan Carpenter, and Baden Stewart, two great-grandsons: Jacob Crecelius and Jesse Crecelius, and his mother: Mary Henry of Lugoff, SC. He is preceded in death by his father: Howard Crecelius.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
