Mrs. Lola Mae Meyer age 71 of Campbellsburg passed away Saturday, February 8 at University of Louisville Hospital.
Mrs. Meyer was born December 16, 1942 in Orange County, Indiana the daughter of Elmer and Hazel Biram Thacker. She was a retired employee of Amaray. She was a member of Salem Church of Christ.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Meyer. They were married December 5, 1959. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Charles L. Thacker, Kenneth D. Thacker and John Thacker and her parents.
She is survived by her companion of 13 years: Charles Reinier of Campbellsburg, a brother: William R. Thacker of Paoli, three sisters: Ruby Hinkle of French Lick, Edith A. Thacker of Paoli and Pamela J. Stout of Virginia Beach, Virginia and her “granddaughter”: Hazel Stout of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stampers Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00AM-time of service.
