Mrs. Lou White age 72 of Borden passed away Sunday, May 19 at 8:50PM at her home.
Mrs. White was born September 20, 1940 in Clark County, Indiana the daughter of Manker and Phoebe Metzger Nicholson. She was a retired LPN for Scott Villa Nursing Home. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband: Arville White. They were married August 30, 1975. She is also survived by a son: Keith Hall (Kim) of Pekin, five daughtrers: Sherri Ritter of Clarksville, Terri Beckett (Randy) of Sellersburg, Bobbi Hayes of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Joyce Slaughter (Aaron) of Jeffersonville and Jennifer King of Pekin, two brothers: Irvin "Dutch" Nicholson of Elkhart, Indiana and Howard Vern Nicholson of Salem, three sisters: Doris Bireley of Atlanta, Georgia, Joyce Medlock of Henryville and Mary Shouse of Lexington, Indiana, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at New Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service at the church.
